Leigh Christie
As one of five founders, Leigh co-managed the Mondo Crew during the design and construction of the spider. He also put together the original team for the Vancouver Junkyard Wars which led to the prototype Spider.
Jonathan Tippett
Founder and engineer, Jonathan was master of "The Leg Lair", designing, co-ordinating and welding the legs to life with his tireless "Team Leg" crew Sam and RJ. www.industrialus.com
Charlie Brinson
Charlie is a project founder involved in everything from high level design decisions to sourcing, engineering, and manufacturing countless spider parts.
Alex Mossman
The throbbing core of the spider, its hydraulic innards and abdomen, were masterminded by Alex Mossman.
Alex appeared as the lead bad guy in "The Middle Path", a play set in medieval Japan, featuring mondo swordfighting. Playing at the "off broadway" venue of the Surrey Little Theatre (http://www.surreylittletheatre.ca/fall.asp). Shows were Thursday to Saturday, Oct 25 to Nov 24, 2007.
Dillard Brinson
Dillard is the MondoSpider project's original and principal sponsor, and one of the project founders.
Sam Meyer
One of 3 core "Team Leg" crew members, Sam fitted jigged and welded more tubes for the legs in 5 months than any normal man could hope to in a life time.
Ryan Johnston
Another of the 3 core "Team Leg" crew members, RJ also decided welding was more important than his job and his beads show it.
Andrew "Bruce" Lau
Bruce TIG welded leg parts and is the architect of the EL lighting system for the spider. Bruce is the webmaster of www.mondospider.com.
Jimmy Koo
Jimmy was one of the most dedicated and versatile workers on the spider leg part assembly line. His relentless work ethic and quality workmanship are unmatched.
Ray Alava
Ray simply rocks! He did a lot of the stress strain calculations and simulations on the spider, in addition to helping out with various parts of the Beast.
Daniel Stratten
Besides supplying the team with his gas powered blender, Daniel (the twisted millwright) helped fabricate the chassis/gear train/feet, grinded leg parts and consulted on several areas.
Christine "Arachna-Mama" Parker
Arachna-Mama, the Mother of all Spiders, cooked 200+ meals for the Spider Crew at Black Rock City! We would've all starved without you.
Tony Geluch
Tony was a member of the army of grinders, cutters and filers that made leg parts to be welded up by the leg lair. Total Madness!!

Justin was a skilled worker on the spider labour force and often offered his genius design advise.

Katarina was an organizational marvel brining order and efficiency to the testosterone-frenzied spider lair. She could also cut and tape templates like nobody's business.

Brian is a founder of Vancouver Junkyard Wars, and it was thru the inspiration of VJYW 2005 that Mondo Spider was brought to life.
